Over the last 20 years, Dr. Chandan Kumar H N at Kuvempunagar has offered countless patients excellent treatment for various health issues. Having trained and served for 12 years at prestigious Apollo BGS Hospital and since last 8 years at Bhanavi Hospital, He has become a neighborhood name at Mysore.

He has not only catered to thousands of outpatients but also to a wide variety of in patients including critically ill cases in ICU. involvement and dedicated services during covid pandemic waves have not only drawn in patients from in and around the city but from across the state as well.

He had the opportunity to train and work in Apollo Hospitals group from the very next day of his MBBS degree completion and worked in all subspecialities of medicine with special focus on Diabetes, critical care and Gastroenterology.
He was a dedicated, hardworking post graduate student, favorite of all his medical teachers and won many inter hospital Medical Quiz and competitions and Presented many medical papers in multiple CMEs both local and at state level conferences.

With his dedication to work and passion to learn, He became the first DNB student to pass out in first attempt from Apollo BGS Hospitals Mysore. In addition to fine tuning his skills in all medical bedside procedures he also was well trained in handling artificial ventilation, Diagnostic GI Endoscopy, bedside Ultrasonography and Screening Echocardiography which are added beneficiary tools to a dynamic Physician to manage challenging complex medical cases.

Over 12 years at Apollo, he emerged as an independent, confident, comprehensive, caring Physician with pleasing bedside mannerism, communication and treatment skills with never ending thirst to learn and update his medical knowledge.

Later He moved to Bhanavi Hospital in the same locality of Mysore, an 100 bedded multispecialty hospital with state of the art facilities, five operation theatres well equipped dedicated medical and surgical ICUs with 10 beds in each, NICU and Hemodialysis unit amongst other facilities.

His hard work, passion for his profession and undivided attention contributed significantly for the tremendous growth of the Institution and made Bhanavi Hospital today a destination of choice for all healthcare related issues for the people of Mysuru and surrounding districts for promising care and affordable cost.

CONTRIBUTION DURING COVID PANDEMIC

He was one of the key physicians of the region rendering selfless professional services during the multiple waves of Covid Pandemic. He was instrumental in handling more than 3000 OPD patients, 500 plus hospitalized patients including more than 100 critically ill ICU cases suffering from COVID 19 and achieved most successful outcome. Around 18 invasively ventilated Covid cases were successfully extubated to discharge and most of them recovered subsequently to normalcy without any residual lung deficits. Bhanavi Hospital was the only Hospital in Mysuru to achieve such high success rate, comparable to any international standards. This attracted lot of appreciation and lauds by fellow Intensivists and physicians of the city and He was felicitated by multiple social and media organizations for his outstanding work.
